STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

The Wood River Land Trust will show off conceptual plans for the Warm Springs Preserve from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the preserve in Warm Springs.

The plans showcase ideas for river restoration, landscaping and a possible trail that would connect to Bald Mountain.

The community came together earlier this year to raise $9 million to purchase the property from developer Bob Brennan, who is building homes in one corner of the original Warm Springs Ranch. The 65-acre preserve is to be kept open space in perpetuity.
