Emmy-winning filmmaker Anthony Geffen will share some of the highlights of his career, which have included working with David Attenborough and Stephen Hawking, in a free talk at 5:30 tonight—Wednesday, Dec. 20—at Ketchum’s Community Library.
Geffen, who leaves his London home every year to spend Christmas in Sun Valley, has regaled Ketchum audiences with looks at his documentaries, which have included “The Coronation” featuring Queen Elizabeth II, a glimpse into King Tut’s tomb and his quest to create the full-sized scan model of the Titanic via AR.
His theatrical films include “The Wildest Dream: Conquest of Everest” and “Hawking Can You Hear Me.” Geffen, considered one of the world’s leading documentary filmmakers won the first British Academy Award (BAFTA) for virtual reality storytelling.
This particular lecture will focus on the future of storytelling.
