Sprout Sellers, a pop-up farmer’s market organized by Future Roots, will bloom at the Sage School Barn in Hailey on Saturday, May 16.

The market, which is building on the success of Future Roots’ fall Root Sellers event, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sage School campus in Hailey’s Quigley Canyon.

It will feature a farmer’s market, food workshops, kid’s activities, live music, food trucks, ice cream making, bike safety checks provided by Trailhead Bicycles and the launch of the 2026 Locally Grown Guide. And the Wood River Seed Library will hold its annual Seed and Plant Exchange.

“Sprout Sellers celebrates the blossoming of a new season,” says Amy Mattias, Future Roots Executive Director. “This is an opportunity to come together, savor the spring abundance, reconnect with local farmers and producers, and get ready for a productive season ahead. After the success of our Root Sellers event last fall, we knew we wanted to kick off the growing season this way. This event helps individuals and families experience and enjoy all aspects of our regional food system.”

Sprout Sellers also includes prepared breakfast and lunch items from local vendors.
