You know it’s a cold night when you need three dogs in bed to keep you from freezing to death.
But the Argyros Performing Arts Center expects to be one of the hottest places in town when Three Dog Night performs a New Year’s Eve concert, no matter what the temperature outside.
Three Dog Night—one of the most successful groups in rock history—will celebrate five decades of hits at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at The Argyros in Ketchum.
Among their hits: “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Mama Told Me (Not to Come)” and “Shambala.”
Tickets range from $150 to $200 and are available at www.theargyros.org.
You can keep the party going, if you like, with the Sun Valley Center for the Arts’ elegant New Year’s Eve Bubbly Bash.
The party featuring festive attire gets underway at 9 p.m. at the River Run Lodge at Sun Valley Resort.
Guests will enjoy complementary bubbles until 10 p.m. followed by a midnight toast compliments of champagne sponsor Domaine Ste. Michelle. There’ll be dancing and a chance to memorialize the night with a photograph taken in the customized Bubbly Bash photo booth in the boozie Lounge.
The photo op is sponsored by events premium cocktail sponsor boozie, the local provider of cocktails in a can.
Proceeds from ticket sales will support the programming at The Center.
Tickets are $150 per person and go on sale to Center members at 10 a.m. Nov. 10, at www.sunvalleycenter.org or via phone at 208-726-9491. They go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Nov. 15.
